Civil Cases

Prior to coming to the DA’s office, Dan spent six years handling many kinds of civil litigation matters. These include personal injury, product liability, construction and professional liability cases.   Dan has been involved in hundreds of depositions, site visits, discovery processes, motions and trial in various types of cases. This well-rounded experience, coupled with extensive trial and court room experience as a prosecutor, can be brought to bear in your civil litigation case.   This background allows Dan to approach your case with a professional and aggressive attitude. If your case is appropriate and Dan tells the other side “we’re not afraid to go to trial” they’ll know he means it.   Often, this will result in the most favorable settlement available to the client.
